Sacyr has participated in the II (2024) and III (2025) editions of the Sustainable Suppliers program to collaborate in its transition towards more sustainable business models.

We attended as a voting company at the Ordinary General Assembly of the United Nations Global Compact and as participants in the 10th European Peer Learning Meeting on Business and Human Rights,

Sacyr was present at the Ekklesia space, organized in Madrid by the Chamber of Commerce and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) on June 3, to analyze the impact of the European Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) on Spanish companies with operations in Peru and Latin America. In addition, the Sacyr Foundation has signed a collaboration agreement with the Peruvian Chamber of Commerce to work in the field of human rights.

Sacyr hosted the Human Rights Labs held on June 18 at our offices in Condesa de Venadito (Madrid). This event became a collaborative work space organized by Fundación SERES and CONESE, which brought together companies such as Repsol and Mutua Madrileña, as well as representatives from different Sacyr departments.

In 2024, the Foundation carried out 78 activities, benefiting around 730,000 people both directly and indirectly.

Most impacted SDG by the Sacyr Foundation activities were "SDG 1: End of poverty", "SDG 4: Quality Education", "SDG 3: Good Health and well-being" and "SDG 10: Reduced inequalities".

The Sacyr Foundation has signed a collaboration agreement that gives any legal Sacyr professional the opportunity to volunteer legal counsel within their work hours.

In the celebration of its 20th anniversary, the Global Compact has recognized Sacyr as a leading organization in supply chain training.

The Sacyr Foundation Board of trustees approved collaboration agreements with 31 organizations for the first half of 2024. 

We collaborate with this project through the Sacyr Foudation to develop a new training and integration center for youths at risk of psychological and social vulnerability.

MManuel Manrique, President of Sacyr, and Servando Revuelta, President of ASOBAL, have renewed the sponsorship agreement of the principal men’s handball competition in Spain. Sacyr will once again be the title sponsor of the Sacyr ASOBAL League on the upcoming 2021/2022 season.

The Spanish women’s and men’s national handball teams and the triathlete Mario Mola participate in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games with Sacyr’s support.
