We promote the artistic talent of people with disabilities

We support the training of artists in the world of music and dance and promote their inclusion in the labor market.

The Sacyr Foundation has signed a collaboration agreement with the Sifu Foundation to collaborate in the SuperArte program, which will promote the social and labor inclusion of 100 people with disabilities in the world of music and dance.

The program seeks to enhance their artistic skills through quality training, provide them with greater visibility, and open up employment opportunities in the cultural sector, thus helping to break down prejudices and demonstrate that art has no limits. SuperArte was created in response to the lack of real opportunities for training, visibility and employment for artists with disabilities.

The program is divided into three main areas:

Training:

- Training scholarships: Scholarships to 20 people with disabilities so that they can train in schools and conservatories of reference.
- Guidance and advice: offers guidance and advice to 100 artists with masterclasses, mentoring and specialized technical support.

Job placement:

- Personalized itineraries: Designs paths adapted to the level, pace and needs of each participant.
- Real artistic employment: Creates job opportunities through galas, events and collaborations with companies in the cultural sector.

Innovation:

- Accessible technology: Incorporates accessible tools such as EyeHarp or Travel Sax so that anyone can make music.
- Visibility on major stages: Gives visibility to talent in top-level venues, demonstrating that disability does not limit art.

The beneficiaries will participate in the main SuperArte shows, including the one at the Teatro Real in Madrid, already held and in which we were present through our Foundation, and the one in Vigo.

The project started on September 1, 2025 and will run until October 1, 2026, during which time the training actions, orientation processes and individualized follow-up of the participants will be carried out.

Mucha gente me quiere.

A year's work for those affected by the heavy rains

At Sacyr and the Sacyr Foundation, we have made an effort to help the people who suffered from the floods in Valencia and Albacete on October 29, 2024. We share how we have done it.

On October 29, 2024, thousands of people were affected by the floods caused by the heavy rains and subsequent floods that affected Albacete and Valencia (Spain). Both Sacyr and the Sacyr Foundation have promoted initiatives, and we have joined others, to help the population and the reconstruction of this area.

Solidarity began with our professionals, who, in collaboration with the Sacyr Foundation, donated more than 52,000 euros to those affected. The Red Cross was responsible for transforming this money into work on the ground to alleviate the effects of the storm.

In addition, our colleagues in the UK, together with several contractors, donated three pumps to the Catarroja fire department to remove sewage, a pressing problem after the rains.

Sacyr Agua professionals worked to repair high-pressure equipment damaged by the storm and to restore the water supply to homes in the affected area. We also sent cleaning trucks to Paiporta, at ground zero of the disaster, to unblock the sewage network, which was flooded by mud.

Aid to five entities

The Board of Trustees of the Sacyr Foundation has attended to the existing needs in the disaster area during 2025 and has approved aid to five associations: Casa Caridad, Educo, Fundación Colisée, Red Acoge and FEVADIS.

We recently visited the Educo Foundation and the Colisée Foundation to see in situ the work they carry out. Educo provides a safe space for children, adolescents, their families and the entire community in the most affected areas to whom it offers psychological support, school reinforcement, training, and legal and social advice to facilitate their integral development.

The drought affected more than 163,000 schoolchildren and left 90 public schools directly impacted, 12 of which were in a critical situation. We also collaborated with the Colisée Foundation, which assists elderly people affected by the floods. It is working on the reconstruction of their homes and the acquisition of essential items to improve their quality of life.

During the visit, we had the opportunity to hear the moving testimony of Dolores, who lost everything that October 29: her home, her personal belongings, household goods, documentation, furniture.... "Thanks to the Sacyr Foundation I have been able to fix my house and now I will need time to make it mine. I have lost everything and now I need to rebuild my life", Dolores explained to our Foundation partner.

The Sacyr Foundation has cooperated with Colisée to rebuild her home.

We are involved in helping people at risk

We attended a Fundación Rementería event and our volunteers accompanied members of Down Madrid to spend a day at Faunia.

On October 22nd, the Sacyr Foundation attended the event organized by the Rementería Foundation to thank volunteers and collaborating companies, like us, for their involvement and commitment.

The event featured two very special presentations. On the one hand, Marta Arce, Paralympic judoka with three Olympic medals, shared her inspiring story of overcoming, effort and sporting values. On the other, Jota, triathlete and motivational speaker, spoke about how sport can transform lives and promote inclusion. Both moved the audience with their testimonies full of strength and hope.

The Rementería Foundation collaborates to ensure that the greatest number of people at risk of exclusion can have a quality ophthalmological service and fight against the lack of opportunities in the Community of Madrid and Colombia.

Volunteering at Faunia with Down Madrid

On Saturday, October 25, 15 Sacyr employees, accompanied by their families, participated in a day of volunteering at Faunia with boys and girls from Down Madrid. It was a day full of joy, learning and connection, in which they were able to enjoy the animals together and share unique moments.

These activities reinforce Sacyr's commitment to inclusion and family volunteering.
