On Friday, September 13, we celebrated this event, presented by the Executive Director of the Sacyr Foundation, Pedro Alonso, with two of the organizations we have collaborated with this year: Gaiambiente and SEO BirdLife. Encarna Mateos, Director of the Quality and Environment Department at Sacyr, also attended the event.

Both organizations are dedicated to conserving and preserving biodiversity, allowing humans and nature to coexist in harmony.
Victor García, Founder and Director of Gaiambiente, explained how, as an environmental consultancy, they assist in management, training, and advising companies. Federico García, Head of the Society Area at SEO/BirdLife (the Spanish Ornithological Society), showed us how this organization preserves bird habitats and balances ecosystems while conducting studies on these animals.
This year, we signed two agreements to carry out corporate volunteer activities with them.
On one hand, we have already completed one project building birdhouses for passerine birds in Paracuellos del Jarama, and we have another activity scheduled for November, dedicated to reforesting severely affected areas that play a crucial role in the planet's health and people’s quality of life.
