A group of fellow volunteers from Sacyr Proyecta accompanied individuals with intellectual disabilities from Down Principado de Asturias on November 11th to an activity at the El Bosque Zoo.
The objective of this activity by the Sacyr Foundation was to enable members of Down Asturias and their families to effectively and satisfactorily enjoy their leisure time, sharing time with volunteers from our group. It aimed to promote volunteering among Sacyr employees and offer engaging activities that, without the support of the Foundation, would be challenging to organize.
During the visit, there was a guided tour of the facilities of this Asturian park, explaining the different plant and animal species in each area, and a workshop conducted by them.
