Employees from the Sacyr offices in Bogotá and the ‘Área Limpia’ consortium from Sacyr Services visited two care homes for the elderly without families to lift their spirits and make the world a happier place. This group of 100 seniors from the FUMDIR Foundation and the Hogar Gerontológico Gratitud Residencial Integral para el Adulto Mayor, was very grateful for the visits from our 52 volunteers.
Sacyremployees and relatives participated on this volunteer work day, in which they also had the chance to develop social inclusion and fun Christmas activities. Some of the activities consisted of decorating Christmas hats, writing letters, putting up Christmas trees, playing bingo or gift-giving.
Employees from Sacyr Services’ ‘Área Limpia’ were enthusiastic and glad that they could participate in this initiative, in which the seniors were the protagonists.
