Our volunteers get a tree in the Amazon forest

Thanks to our collaboration agreement with Saving the Amazon, all people who have participated in a volunteer program with the Sacyr Foundation in Spain, Peru, and Chile in 2023 and 2024 have their tree in this area of the planet.

This is one of the perks of being a Sacyr Foundation volunteer!

This area has grown thanks to the commitment of employees and the social entities we work with. 

Through this Geoforest link, you can geolocate all the trees planted in the Sacyr Forest in the Amazon. 

The Sacyr Foundation contributes to the growth of this forest by planting 2,054 trees of more than 500 different species in the Colombian Amazon. 

Thanks to our agreement with Saving the Amazon, we monitor the planting and care of each tree on the Geoforest platform, offset our carbon footprint with a community project, and provide economic alternatives to the poorest communities.
