We pick up litter in a protected area in Colombia

A group of 35 volunteers from our "Unión Vial Camino del Pacífico" project collected solid waste from inside the Yotoco Forest Reserve.

From the Environmental Management department of the "Unión Vial Camino del Pacífico" P3 company, a third volunteer event was organized, this time in the Yotoco Forest Reserve.

A group of 35 volunteers worked on a day of collecting solid waste within the forest reserve, adjacent to the road.

This area is protected and is home to 243 plant species, 26 amphibian and reptile species, 155 bird species, and 41 mammal species.

From "Unión Vial Camino del Pacífico," we are carrying out significant educational and awareness-raising efforts among the residents and users of the corridor about the importance of the forest reserve and the Yotoco River wetlands and the El Negrito stream.
