Our company has joined the Pro Bono Foundation, thanks to a collaboration agreement signed by the Sacyr Foundation.
Sacyr's inclusion in Pro Bono means that we will offer free legal advice from our legal advisory department to third sector foundations and associations.
Thanks to the donation from the Sacyr Foundation, any legal professional at Sacyr can engage in this activity during working hours as long as it does not affect their job performance or personal work-life balance. Neither the company nor the professional will receive any compensation from the beneficiary, and the service will maintain the highest quality.
The Pro Bono Spain Foundation, which channels the demand for pro bono legal services, acts as an intermediary between social organizations in need of legal assistance and lawyers able to help.
Since its inception in 2018, it has worked to promote pro bono practice and raise awareness among legal professionals about the social role of law. It already has a network of more than 40 law firms and multiple allied universities.
The objective of this volunteer work is to facilitate access to justice for the most in need, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to strengthen the commitment to the global agenda through law as a transformative tool that multiplies social impact.
