As part of our collaboration agreement with Dogpoint, our colleagues María Esteban, David Cuevas, and Susana Pestaña have been fostering three puppies from this organization in their homes for several months. The goal of this initiative is to support the puppies during their socialization stage, the first phase of their training to become assistance dogs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Dogpoint works to support children with ASD and their families through assistance dogs. Thanks to the strong bond that develops between them, the children learn to better manage their emotions and behaviors.
