On the occasion of International Day of Forests and World Down Syndrome Day (both on March 21st), last March 7th, Sacyr’s Corporate Volunteer Club organized an environmental voluntary work day with Asociación Reforesta.
Since this year we have decided to promote social harmony as a fundamental value, carried out this activity with a group of beneficiaries from Down Madrid.
We had a lot of fun!
The voluntary work session took place in Valle de los Almorchones (La Barranca), in the Cuenca Alta del Mazanares Regional Park. Sacyr families and Down Madrid members planted trees, 20 oak trees in total, and participated in workshops to learn how to make insect homes and bird feeders.
