The Sacyr Foundation Board of Trustees held its last meeting of the year with the review of all the activities carried out in 2024.
In total, 78 activities have been carried out, of which 46 of them are volunteering with the participation of more than 750 volunteers with 14,700 hours full of solidarity. The Foundation has collaboration agreements with 72 entities.
Specifically, these volunteers, which have been carried out in all the countries in which we operate, have focused on our seven lines of action: childhood, environment, inclusion, emergency, disability, health care and volunteering.
The SDGs most impacted by our projects have been 1 No Poverty, 4 Quality Education, 3 Health and Well-being and 10 Reduced Inequalities.
For 2025, new actions have been approved with entities with which we already collaborate, such as:
- Emalaikat Foundation: Installation of a solar-powered water pump for the community of Nakwamunyen so that they can have water of sufficient quality and quantity for their consumption, that of their animals and start agricultural projects to improve nutrition.
- EXIT Foundation: Address the early educational dropout of young people in situations of social vulnerability, from a transversal and integrated collaboration to its new Guidance Programme.
- New way of collaboration in Paraguay to carry out repairs and adaptations in indigenous schools in the area.
The Foundation, which aims to promote human rights and cooperation for the development of disadvantaged regions and groups, relies on the Sacyr Volunteer Club to maximise the reach of its initiatives and projects.
