We collaborate in the training of people with less financial resources through Fundación Tomillo, an organization that works for the social improvement of the situation of young people at risk of social exclusion.
We have funded the organization’s headquarters digitalization project to fight the digital and learning gap that their beneficiaries face.
One of the organization’s main action lines is professional development, and in the face of some of their users’ digital gap, we decided to collaborate with those who take vocational training.
50% of Fundación Tomillo’s users do not own a computer, 23% have no access to the Internet, and 20% has no access to the Internet on their mobile devices. With these obstacles, their learning is impeded. Thanks to the purchase of 15 laptops, Fundación Tomillo’s beneficiaries also have the chance to develop their digital skills and to communicate with their teachers online to continue their training and coaching process.
