Through the collaboration agreement between the Sacyr Foundation and the Pro Bono Foundation, any legal professional from our company can voluntarily provide legal advice to third sector organizations.
For this purpose, the Pro Bono Foundation has organized a workshop today at our offices on Condesa de Venadito (Madrid), where our employees can receive training to carry out these altruistic collaborations. The image shows all the participants in this workshop.
Sacyr joined the Pro Bono Foundation through a collaboration agreement signed by the Sacyr Foundation.
The legal advice will be free and voluntary, provided by our legal advisory department to foundations and associations in the third sector.
Any legal professional at Sacyr can carry out this activity during working hours, as long as it does not affect their job performance or personal work-life balance. Neither the company nor the professional will receive any compensation from the beneficiary, and the service will maintain the highest quality.
The Pro Bono Foundation Spain, a facilitator of the demand for pro bono legal services, acts as an intermediary between social organizations in need of legal assistance and lawyers who are able to help.
Since its creation in 2018, the foundation has worked to promote pro bono practice and raise awareness among legal professionals about the social role of the legal profession. It already has a network of over 40 law firms and multiple allied universities.
The aim of this volunteer program is to promote access to justice for those most in need, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to strengthen the commitment to the global agenda through law as a transformative tool that amplifies social impact.
