The Sacyr Foundation supports the Asociación Aspanovas’ “Mi Estrella Viajera” initiative. They work to provide support to families of children or adolescent cancer patients in Bizkaia.
This initiative started back in 2019, and is led by Txus Martín, a fellow Sacyrian in Barakaldo, and the reason why they make this cycle is to remember his daughter Iraide, “mi estrella viajera”, so that she can keep travelling.
With this project, Txus, along with different co-workers and Friends, has cycled the “Ruta del Duero”, from Picos de Urbión to Oporto. According to the protagonist of this post: “Movements like Estrella Viajera arise when a parent is adamant about keeping their daughter alive, keep her travelling, dreaming and living good experiences. The only missing ingredient was a squad of friends that I could have never imagined.”
