We welcomed national radio station Onda Cero at Reina Sofía Foundation Alzheimer's center and some Alzheimer's patients relatives shared their experiences with Alzheimer's disease and how to act if a friend or relative gets an Alzheimer's diagnosis on 'Más de uno' with Carlos Alsina.
Knowing what Alzheimer's disease entails is the first tool to improve the patients' and their loved ones' quality of life.
The Sacyr Foundation collaborates with Adopta un Abuelo at several volunteer work actions, like its hallmark elderly phone call service.

Isabel del Cañizo is the attending phyisician at the Getafe-Alzheimer care home for seniors, also under Sacyr Social management and she knows the patients best. She is also a passionate artist, and she wrote and illustrated the “Short guide for relatives of dementia patients”
After completing her residency, she started working at the care home, managed by Sacyr Social in Getafe. There, she realized that "patients' relatives are poorly informed about dementia”. Therefore, she decided to write and illustrate this guide to educate on dementia, what the diagnosis and prognosis are like and its types and stages.
