In order to develop the creative skills of the beneficiaries, we have offered different workshops and activities to give them a quality arts education with concepts, vocabulary, history, and techniques, while enjoying collective creation. This also gives them the chance to develop their more sociable side, since it is an opportunity to meet other people with similar interests and dreams like theater, dance, painting, or photography.
The Sacyr Foundation has collaborated by purchasing material to equip the classrooms with specific utensils for the painting workshop, a project that the participants with Down Syndrome or other intellectual disabilities from the Servicio de Cultura had the chance to enjoy. In addition, many of them were able to see the exhibition #INGOYA at the Teatro Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa.
With this activity, the student understands other motivations and artistic possibilities and develops other skills. This helps create a space of understanding, cohesion, and trust, and using their creativity, they can discover new forms of expression.
