Ayuda en Acción and the Sacyr Foundation performed the groundbreaking ceremony for this first bee keeping facility in the Peruvian Cajamarca region.
The facility will enhance the artisanal production through innovative technologies that industrialize the processes and improve the quality of honey and its by products.
Both organizations have already done a work phase on strengthening the abilities, competences and organizational skills of bee keepers via associations with the strategic aim of creating profit for local businesses. The second stage was to focus on increasing the production capacity and acessing new markets.
