In line with our activities for Mental Health Month and in partnership with the Health and Safety department, the Sacyr Foundation organized a conference on Thursday with the Manantial Foundation to introduce Sacyr employees to the #Rayadas project.
The objective of this meeting, which took place in person at Condesa de Venadito, was to explain how to care for the mental health and well-being of young people in the educational environment.
According to the data provided by the foundation, 38% of people between the ages of 16 and 24 experience emotional distress, a condition exacerbated by the pandemic, which increased the percentage of anxiety in adolescents to 27%. Excessive use of the Internet and social media is associated with lower emotional well-being.
Through #Rayadas, a project in which the Sacyr Foundation collaborates, they work with adolescents in schools to help improve their mental health.
