The Sacyr Foundation has signed a collaboration agreement with the Aspace Navarra Foundation to provide financial support to the SAOR Program (a service for the reception, orientation, and rehabilitation of individuals with cerebral palsy or other related disabilities).
Specifically, through our collaboration, we will cover the cost of therapies for children with cerebral palsy and other related disabilities who come from families facing socio-economic challenges.
The goal of this project is to help improve the quality of life of children, young people, and adults with cerebral palsy and other related disabilities, as well as their families, by facilitating access to various rehabilitation therapies.
Based on the needs identified during the intake and monitoring process, certain therapies are required to develop and strengthen motor skills, personal autonomy, language, and communication, without creating an undue financial burden on the families.
Around 35 children (aged 0-15) and 273 individuals (aged 16-76), totaling 308 people with cerebral palsy and related disabilities, along with their families, will directly benefit from this project. Indirectly, more than 900 people, including family members and close circles, will also benefit.
Specifically, the support received from the Sacyr Foundation will be used to provide rehabilitation therapies based on the Petö method for children aged 5 to 15 with cerebral palsy and other related disabilities, from families experiencing extreme socio-economic hardship.
