On March 19, the Coach Project by Fundación Exit concluded. This is a corporate volunteering initiative supported by the Sacyr Foundation.
This volunteering initiative aims to guide and motivate young people in socially vulnerable situations who have experienced academic failure, through coaching and mentoring.
That is exactly what a group of employee volunteers from our company has done with students who have visited our offices for six weeks to receive this guidance and support. One of our volunteers, José Ramón Quevedo, and his coachee, Hugo Sancha, were selected to appear on the TV program Aquí hay empleo to share their experience.
In addition, we have carried out two more projects with Fundación Exit. On one hand, this week our volunteers completed the training for the Speed Dating Reverse, which took place yesterday, March 26. During this event, our employees participated in a series of 15-minute meetings with the young participants from Exit to share insights about their professional lives.
On the other hand, we are preparing the Explora videos, in which students interview our volunteers about their day-to-day work in the company. This activity gives students from schools in vulnerable contexts the opportunity to learn about jobs, professions, and industries through video interviews with company professionals.
These videos will later be available on Fundación Exit’s Instagram account.
The mission of Fundación Exit is to reduce early school dropout among young people in socially vulnerable situations through innovative, scalable educational projects. These projects provide a structured pathway, add value to companies, foster networking, and promote job placement.
