The Sacyr Foundation collaborates with Hospital Infanta Sofía in Parla (Madrid, Spain) to aid cancer patients
A group of 12 breast cancer patients walked five stages of the Camino de Santiago in a week. This group was supported throughout the 127 km by medical professionals: two nurses, a nurse aide, a physical therapist and an oncologist, as some of them were still under treatment.
This activity was possible thanks to the cooperation of the Sacyr Foundation, which, by signing a collaboration agreement with Hospital Infanta Sofía has made these patients’ dream come true.
