Aladina, is an organization based in Spain that helps child and teenage cancer patients. After March 2020, when the whole country went into lockdown and the world stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many patients had to remain in complete isolation.
To prevent patients from feeling lonely, Aladina developed the ‘Together from home’ initiative. This program adapted plans and activities to the stay-at-home reality, to protect chemotherapy patients from the consequences of the deterioration of their defenses. The Sacyr Foundation supports this project to protect these children and their families and make them feel taken-after by the Aladina team.
This project was posible due to the participation of Sacyr employees in the activities developed during the I Sacyr Foundation week.
Thank you all!
