On March 6th, we hosted at our offices one of the training sessions of the Seres Foundation, of which we are members.
The Seres Foundation is an entity that promotes a more significant role for companies in improving society and encourages companies to create value and assume their role as key agents in solving social problems.
Seres has launched a training cycle called "Human Rights Labs" aimed at its members, consisting of several sessions to help companies assess their level of maturity in human rights.
This workshop provides practical tools for conducting Due Diligence processes, according to the requirements of European regulations.
It will also present the latest trends in human rights, both in terms of regulatory and investor perspectives (reporting standards, indices, etc.), as well as the roadmap, priorities, and progress of the United Nations Guiding Principles and good practices of other companies.
This session assessed the learnings of the 12th United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights, an introduction to the human rights due diligence cycle, clarification of concepts, and focus on upcoming milestones, identification of human rights risks in the value chain, and public commitment and human rights policy.
